Privacy Policy
Summary: LMN Site Monitor Desktop Premium does not collect, store or share any personal data beyond what is strictly required for license activation. All monitoring data, SSH profiles and file-transfer credentials are stored exclusively on your device. Payment is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy — we never see your card details.
1. Data controller
This application is developed and maintained by Francisco Moreno (). For any privacy-related enquiry you can contact us at that address.
2. License activation
When you activate or deactivate your license, the app contacts the
Lemon Squeezy API (api.lemonsqueezy.com). The following data is transmitted:

Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for this product and processes all payments. Their privacy policy applies to purchase and payment data: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
3. Anonymous install ping
On the first launch only, the app sends a single anonymous ping to count the installation. The following table details exactly what is sent and what is stored:

This ping is sent once per installation. After it succeeds, a local flag is stored on your device and the ping is never repeated.
4. Data processed locally (never leaves your device)
All monitoring and connection data is stored in a local SQLite
database on your device (AppData\Roaming\LMN Site Monitor\). This includes:
- URLs and site configurations you add to the app.
- HTTP response times and uptime history.
- SSL certificate and domain expiry dates.
- SMTP credentials for email alerts (stored locally, never transmitted to us).
- SSH connection profiles — host, port, username. Passwords and private key passphrases are encrypted using the OS keychain where available.
- FTP/SFTP/SCP connection profiles — host, port, username. Passwords are encrypted using the OS keychain where available.
- DNS change history, malware scan history and redirect chain data per site.
- App preferences and settings.
You have full control over this data at all times. You can delete it by uninstalling the app and removing the application data folder.
5. Third-party services used by the app
The app makes direct requests from your device to the following external services, strictly as required by features you explicitly use:
- Lemon Squeezy API — to activate and deactivate your license key. See section 2.
- Your monitored websites — HTTP/HTTPS pings to check uptime.
- Your SSH servers — only when you open an SSH session or enable server monitoring. Connections are made directly from your machine.
- Your FTP/SFTP/SCP servers — only when you open a file-transfer session. Connections are made directly from your machine.
- Google Safe Browsing API — only when you enable malware scanning. Requires your own API key.
- URLhaus (abuse.ch) — only when you enable malware scanning. Requires your own API key.
- WHOIS servers — only when you perform a WHOIS lookup.
- Your SMTP server — only to deliver alert emails you configure.
We do not share any data with these services beyond what is strictly necessary to perform the requested function.
6. Legal basis (GDPR)
License activation is processed on the basis of contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — it is necessary to deliver the software you purchased. The anonymous install ping does not constitute processing of personal data under the GDPR, as no information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person is collected or stored.
7. Data retention
The license key is stored encrypted on your device for as long as the app is installed. License activation records held by Lemon Squeezy are subject to their own retention policy. The anonymous installation record (UUID, version, OS, country) is retained indefinitely for statistical purposes and contains no personal data.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase any data we hold about you. To exercise your rights or request deletion of the anonymous installation record, contact us at and we will respond within 30 days. For rights related to your purchase (name, email, payment data), contact Lemon Squeezy directly at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
